ombudsman and Asian consumers

Research carried out back in 2006 showed that Asian consumers were only half as likely as other ethnic groups to have heard of the ombudsman and its impartial role in settling financial disputes.

But following a campaign by the ombudsman service in 2007/2009, there has been a two-fold increase in levels of awareness of the ombudsman in the Asian community. To help maintain this level of engagement and awareness, the ombudsman will be continuing its campaign aimed at Asian consumers throughout 2010.

We regularly take part in national and regional Asian-lifestyle and community-events across the UK, including:
